「國安家安·共慶回歸」新界華僑聯會舉辦慶祝香港回歸28周年茶會

為慶祝香港回歸祖國28周年暨新界華僑聯會成立30周年，本會今日假大埔隆重舉行「慶祝香港回歸祖國28周年」下午茶聚活動，吸引逾百名會員及嘉賓參與，場面熱鬧。活動透過專題分享、國家安全教育及愛國歌曲演唱等環節，表達對香港繁榮穩定的支持，並回顧本會三十年來服務華僑、凝聚愛國力量的歷程。

新界華僑聯會會長許洪坤致歡迎辭時表示：「香港回歸祖國28年來，『一國兩制』成功實踐，社會繁榮穩定，有賴中央政府的支持與廣大市民的共同努力。今年適逢本會成立30周年，我們見證了香港與祖國血脈相連的發展歷程，未來將繼續團結華僑社群，支持特區政府依法施政，為國家和香港的未來貢獻力量。」
永遠榮譽會長黎有、陳漢明、陳運福，首席副會長李觀勝亦出席支持，共同見證這一重要時刻。

活動特邀新界社團聯會永遠會長羅叔清擔任主講嘉賓。他憶述：「1985年《中英聯合聲明》簽署後，不少海外華僑對香港前途心存疑慮。當時新界華僑服務社（新界華僑聯會前身）積極向華僑解釋政策、消除憂慮，並協助他們融入社區。新界華僑聯會於香港回歸前成立，三十年來始終秉持愛國愛港精神，成為聯繫華僑與社會的重要橋樑。」

新界華僑聯會理事長張國慧強調國家安全的重要性時指出：「國安方能家安。正如日前首度訪港的航母山東艦編隊所展現，強大的國防力量是維護國家安全的重要基石。近年香港在《香港國安法》護航下重回正軌，社會得以聚焦發展。我們必須持續加強國家安全教育，尤其要引導年輕一代認識國家發展成就，珍惜來之不易的穩定環境，共同維護國家主權、安全和發展利益。」

活動環節緊扣主題，包括播放國家安全教育短片，深化與會者對國家安全的認識；尾聲時全場高唱《歌唱祖國》，以激昂歌聲表達對祖國的熱愛與祝福。

活動獲各界代表支持，出席嘉賓包括：大埔民政事務助理專員郭鎮齊、大埔警區警民關係主任總督察羅韻儀、西貢北約鄉事委員會主席李耀斌、大埔七約鄉公所主席文春輝、大埔體育會主席蔡錦光、新社聯大埔地區委員會副主席張錦如、大埔社團聯誼會副主席陳灶良、大埔居民聯會主席余智榮、仁和慈善基金副主席陳勇華、林村許願廣場主席鄭倫光等，體現社區團結共慶回歸的熱忱。
