「新界華僑聯會三十周年會慶 暨 乙巳年春節聯歡晚會」，邀請政制及內地事務局副局長胡健民、中聯辦新界工作部處長郭展偉、立法會議員陳克勤、容海恩、何俊賢，大埔民政事務助理專員郭鎮齊、香港警務處大埔區副指揮官黎晧暉、雅麗氏何妙齡那打素醫院及大埔醫院行政總監冼藝泉醫生、新社聯大埔地委會主席黃碧嬌、香港僑界社團聯會常務副會長兼秘書長廖宇軒、大埔鄉事委員會首副主席陳笑權、大埔七約鄉公所主席文春輝、大埔商會主席陳佩添、大埔體育會主席蔡錦光、香港新界地區事務顧問協會副主席陳金霖、三聯書店（香港）有限公司 總編輯于克凌、灣區莞港菁英薈主席袁艷開、香港大埔粉嶺工商聯會主席羅偉平、中華電力有限公司企業事務總監羅國有、永遠榮譽會長陳運福、黎有、陳漢明以及同場超過400 名不同社區人士出席參與、當中包括多位政府部門代表、醫務人員、中旅證件服務部代表、區議員、地區領袖、鄉事代表和商會代表等等到場祝賀。

新界華僑聯會會長許洪坤在致歡迎詞期間表示，今天是新界華僑聯會祝成立三十周年的大喜日子，新知舊雨濟濟一堂，在蛇年新春節日喜氣洋洋的氣氛下，共同回顧三十年來輝煌的工作成果，與大家一起分享成長的喜悅，實在感到非常榮幸。未來本會將會繼續發揚愛國華僑精神，薪火相傳，讓更多年青華僑在本會前人共同構建的平台上發光發亮，更創輝煌。

胡健民在致辭期間表達，今年國際環境更趨複雜、嚴峻及不確定，貿易保護主義盛行，將拖累全球貿易及世界經濟復蘇，地緣政治衝突對全球能源等負面影響，更重要的是需要大家團結幫手，利用好各地華僑的龐大網絡和獨特優勢，齊來繼續講好香港故事、中國故事。

理事長張國慧在致謝詞時分享，不單要講好香港故事、中國故事，也要講好華僑故事。近年本會舉辦多項活動，當中包括多個講座，例如邀請警方分享防騙知識、邀請那打素專科醫生分享護理心臟知識等等。早前中央政府推出非中國籍香港居民申領回鄉證的政策，本會邀請中旅證件服務部專家為我們會員講解申請程序，政策彰顯了國家的包容胸襟，不僅為華僑群體提供了便利，更有利於華僑子弟回國發展，為祖國貢獻有國際視野與跨文化背景的高端人才，這便是一個好的華僑故事、香港故事和中國故事。
